Specifically, according to the update of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, Dai Thom 8 rice fluctuates around 7,800 - 8,200 VND/kg; OM 5451 at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 fluctuates around 7,700 - 7,900 VND/kg; OM 380 rice at 7,500 VND/kg; IR 504 rice at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; OM 18 rice at 7,800 - 8,100 VND/kg.

Last week, the price of rice of all kinds increased again with an increase of 100 - 200 VND/kg. Currently, the provinces of the Mekong Delta have entered the peak harvest season.

Rice prices remain stable today

In localities such as Kien Giang, Dong Thap, An Giang, Tien Giang ... today, the supply of rice is abundant but there is little good rice, so it is difficult to buy rice in market warehouses. In Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), the price of fragrant rice is at 12,000 - 12,200 VND/kg; OM 380 rice is at 11,000 - 11,200 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice fluctuates around 11,350 - 11,550 VND/kg; IR 504 rice is at 11,200 - 11,400 VND/kg; RVT is at 12,600 - 13,100 VND/kg.

At retail markets, rice prices remained stable. Accordingly, the price of regular rice fluctuated around 14,000 - 15,000 VND/kg; Jasmine rice 17,000 - 18,000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice 26,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice 19,000 - 20,000 VND/kg; Huong jasmine rice 21,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained stable today. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 5% broken rice was at 584 USD/ton; 25% broken rice was at 563 USD/ton; 100% broken rice was stable at 478 USD/ton.

Over the past week, rice export prices have increased again by 5-6 USD/ton. In general, in the first 12 days of March, Vietnam's rice deliveries to major markets showed many positive signs compared to the volume of the previous month.
