Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the price of fresh rice OM 5451 decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 5,300 - 5,500 VND/kg; the price of fresh rice OM 18 decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg; the price of fresh rice IR 50404 decreased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating at 5,100 - 5,300 VND/kg; the price of fresh rice Dai Thom 8 decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg, compared to the beginning of the week.

In many localities today, buying and selling transactions are slow, prices fluctuate slightly. In An Giang , rice harvests are scattered in some areas, buying and selling transactions are slow, fresh rice prices slightly decrease. In Can Tho, buying and selling transactions are weak, purchasing power is slow, fresh rice prices slightly decrease.

In Tay Ninh, rice harvests are sporadic, transactions are slow, and prices are relatively stable. In Vinh Long, the remaining rice is low, buyers are asking to buy slowly, and prices are stagnant. In Dong Thap , farmers are offering fresh rice at stable prices, transactions are weak, and traders rarely buy new rice.

Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Lua Rice Viet, currently the price of IR 504 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg; Soc Det raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,500 - 7,600 VND; OM 5451 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; OM 18 raw rice for export fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,800 - 7,900 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,100 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, broken rice 3.4 increased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,100 - 7,200 VND/kg; bran prices fluctuate at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

In localities today, the market is slow, trading is weak, rice of all kinds is stable. In An Giang, warehouses buy little rice of all kinds, factories actively offer for sale but warehouses sell out, rice prices fluctuate little.

In Lap Vo, Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the amount of goods coming in is still slow, most of the big warehouses are still buying slowly, prices are stable. In An Cu - Dong Thap, buying and selling transactions are weak, few warehouses are buying, prices are relatively stable.

At retail markets, the price of regular rice decreased by VND2,000/kg, fluctuating at VND11,000 - 12,000/kg. The prices of other types of rice remained the same compared to the beginning of the week. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; Huong Lai rice is VND22,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice is VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is VND20,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND17,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice is VND16,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; Soc Thai rice is VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice costs 22,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken fragrant rice ranges from 415 to 430 USD/ton; 100% broken rice ranges from 314 to 317 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice ranges from 478 to 482 USD/ton.
