The price of Ri6 A is quite consistent across regions (VND48,000 - 52,000/kg), while Ri6 B fluctuates greatly in the Southeast (VND36,000 - 48,000/kg). Ri6 C is stable at VND25,000 - 30,000/kg, except for "Negotiation" cases in the previous days.

Thai A and Thai B prices in the Central Highlands are significantly lower than those in the Mekong Delta and the Southeast, possibly reflecting differences in supply or production costs. Thai C has a relatively uniform price (VND42,000 - 48,000/kg) across all three regions.

Musang King and Thai VIP only appear in the Mekong Delta with high prices (up to 120,000 - 130,000 VND/kg for Musang King A), showing that this region has a stronger demand for high-quality durian.

Durian prices on 30/5/2025 showed stability in the mid-range and low-end segments, with some fluctuations in the high-end segment or varieties with uneven quality (such as Ri6 B). The Central Highlands tended to have lower prices, possibly due to local advantages in production.

According to information from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province, the unit has just completed an inspection of packaging facilities and durian growing areas. The results showed that there were no cases of durian contaminated with the banned substances yellow O and cadmium, ensuring standards for export products.

Currently, Lam Dong has granted 114 codes to durian growing areas with a total area of over 5,000 hectares, accounting for 60.2% of the total pure growing area and has 10 packaging facilities for export. It is expected that in 2024, durian export output will reach over 25,500 tons, with a total turnover of about 104.15 million USD, an increase of 2.72 million USD compared to 2023.

Lam Dong is one of the largest durian growing regions in the country. It is forecasted that by 2025, the total durian area of the province will reach about 25,610 hectares, with an estimated harvest of more than 176,000 tons. Currently, the main durian growing regions in Lam Dong are entering the harvest season to serve the domestic and export markets.
