Pepper prices in the country today edged up slightly by VND500 in some places. Therefore, the price of this agricultural product is still fluctuating around VND148,000/kg.
According to estimates by the Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), in October 2025, Vietnam will export about 20,000 tons of pepper; worth 132 million USD, down slightly by 2.8% in volume and 3.1% in value compared to the previous month, but still up 7.6% and 9.2% over the same period in 2024.
In the first 10 months of the year, pepper exports reached 206 thousand tons, bringing in 1.4 billion USD - down 5.9% in volume but up sharply 25.8% in value thanks to the average export price increasing 33.7%, reaching 6,774 USD/ton. In October alone, the export price reached 6,651 USD/ton, almost stable compared to the previous month and up 1.6% over the same period.
