SJC gold bar price only decreased by 500,000 VND/tael

The price of SJC gold bars as of noon today, May 26, only decreased by 500,000 VND/tael, to 120 million VND/tael.

Domestic gold price is still 14.7 million VND/tael higher than world gold price

This afternoon, the world gold price decreased by 13.7 USD/ounce, to 3,346.8 USD/ounce. Converted according to the exchange rate listed at the bank, the world gold price is equivalent to 105.3 million VND/tael.

The gold price movement today has attracted the attention of the people, experts and gold traders because at the Government Standing Committee meeting on gold market management at the end of May 24, the Prime Minister requested the State Bank to strengthen management and quickly reduce the difference between domestic and world gold prices to only 1-2%, not over 10% as recently.

The market expects that after the Prime Minister's direction and actions from the State Bank, domestic gold prices will no longer have unreasonable differences as they do now.

However, today, domestic gold prices still maintain a fairly large difference.

With the selling price of SJC gold bars at 120 million VND/tael, the price of SJC gold bars is 14.7 million VND/tael higher than the world gold price, equivalent to nearly 14%.

If the difference between domestic and world gold prices is reduced to only 1-2%, the domestic gold price will be around 106.3-107.4 million VND/tael, a decrease of about 13 million VND/tael compared to the current level.

The price of gold rings is also nearly 10 million VND/tael higher than the world gold price.

The price of 9999 SJC brand gold rings is currently being sold at 115 million VND/tael, and the buying price is 112 million VND/tael, which also has to decrease by about 7 million VND/tael.

Gold prices of other brands are also quite high.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed the selling price of 9999 gold rings at 118.5 million VND/tael, buying at 115.5 million VND/tael.

At Mi Hong gold shop, the selling price of gold bars dropped to 119.5 million VND/tael, buying price was 118 million VND/tael.
