The difference between the buying and selling price of gold bars remained at VND2.5 million/tael.
In Bien Hoa city, the price of Phuc Long Gold of Doji Jewelry Group is 115.5 million VND/tael for buying and 118 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 2.5 million VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to yesterday. The price of PNJ gold bars is 114-117 million VND/tael for buying and selling.
For Doji's 9999 gold rings and round rings (Hung Thinh Vuong), the current buying price is 11.45 million VND/tael, selling price is 11.75 million VND/tael (equivalent to 117.5 million VND/tael), an increase of 430 thousand VND/tael in selling - buying compared to yesterday.
SJC 9999 plain rings are bought at 11.4 million VND/tael and sold at 11.7 million VND/tael, an increase of 320 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday. The current buying and selling price of PNJ plain rings is 11.4-11.7 million VND/tael.
According to representatives of many large jewelry centers in Bien Hoa City, the number of customers coming to buy gold in recent days has increased dramatically compared to last month. Due to the sudden increase in demand and the limited supply of gold, there were times when many jewelry centers were "out of stock", with no gold bars or plain rings left to sell.
Nguyen Khoa Tam, representative of the Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) branch in Bien Hoa city, said that in recent days, the number of customers coming to buy gold has nearly doubled compared to before. Meanwhile, on the other hand, some people are still cautiously waiting for the gold price to increase further before deciding whether to sell or not.
