Domestic gold prices increase rapidly along with world prices

At the end of the trading session on May 19, Saigon Jewelry Company listed the buying price of gold at VND66.65 million/tael; the selling price was VND67.25 million/tael, both up VND150,000/tael for buying and selling prices compared to the morning of the same day. The difference between the buying and selling prices of SJC gold remained at VND600,000/tael.

Also after the trading session on May 19, DOJI Group listed the buying and selling price of gold at 66.55 - 67.15 million VND/tael. Compared to early this morning, gold at DOJI increased by 100,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling prices, so the difference between the buying price and selling price is still 600,000 VND/tael.

SJC gold price increased by 150,000 VND/tael (buy - sell) in the trading session on May 19.

World gold prices increased again. At the beginning of the trading session on May 19 (US time), the spot gold price on Kitco increased to 1,960 USD/oz, up 4 USD/oz compared to the closing price of the previous session.

Converting world gold prices according to foreign exchange rates at Vietcombank : 1 USD = 23,660 VND, world gold price is equivalent to 55.87 million VND/tael, 11.38 million VND/tael lower than the SJC gold selling price at the end of May 19./.
