Gasoline prices continue to decrease in this adjustment period

Specifically, compared to the first operating session of the week (May 5), the price of RON 95 gasoline (a popular type on the market) today was adjusted down by VND410/liter, the retail price down to VND19,170/liter. Similarly, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND380/liter, the selling price was VND18,770/liter. Meanwhile, the price of diesel oil decreased by VND550/liter, the retail price was VND16,800/liter.

At today's management session, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance still did not use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund.

This year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade allocated a minimum of 29.5 million m3 of gasoline to key enterprises. This level is equivalent to 2.5 million m3 per month.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade said it will continue to closely monitor developments in the domestic and world petroleum markets to find solutions to ensure market supply.
