Promote the effectiveness of projects sponsored by World Vision

Since 2011, through the Nhu Xuan Regional Program, WVI in Vietnam has supported people in Hoa Quy, Binh Luong, Thuong Ninh, Thanh Lam communes and Yen Cat town with programs and projects worth more than 7 million USD. The program mainly implements projects such as: Child protection, livelihood projects and some other projects... The beneficiaries of the programs and projects are mainly poor households, children, people in difficult circumstances, vulnerable people in society...

After nearly 14 years of implementation, the material and spiritual life of the people has improved significantly; children have a better learning environment and the rate of malnourished and stunted children under 5 years old has decreased significantly... Currently, WVI is implementing 2 projects in Nhu Xuan district, such as: Nhu Xuan regional program, implementation period from October 2022 to September 2025 with a budget of 755,528 USD; "Digital transformation for adaptation" project, implementation period from December 2022 to November 2025 with a capital of 555,555 Euro. Recently, WVI has issued a document announcing the extension of time and additional capital for the Nhu Xuan regional program until September 2026 with 216,700 USD and the "Digital transformation for adaptation" project has been extended by the sponsor until August 2026. Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhu Xuan District, said: "The support projects of WVI have created effective and practical livelihoods for people in the project area through technical support in cultivation and livestock breeding for beneficiaries who are poor and disadvantaged households. At the same time, they have contributed to enhancing children's empowerment and creating useful playgrounds for children in communes and towns in the project area."

Currently, WVI is supporting the implementation of 16 regional programs and projects in the districts of Nhu Xuan, Thuong Xuan, Ba Thuoc, Nhu Thanh, Quan Hoa, Thach Thanh with a committed budget for the period 2024-2028 of more than 7.7 million USD. Support projects such as: Medical support for children with disabilities and serious illnesses in Thuong Xuan district 51,776 USD; increasing income for ethnic minorities in Ba Thuoc district" 192,600 USD; Quan Hoa 2 regional program in Quan Hoa district over 1.8 million USD; Ba Thuoc 2 regional program in Ba Thuoc district over 2 million USD; sustainable livelihood transformation of households in Thuong Xuan district 98,292 USD; sustainable livelihood transformation of households in Nhu Thanh district 179,800 USD; life skillseducation , life values for children in Nhu Xuan district 300,000 USD; Thach Thanh regional program 2.765 million USD; life skills education, life values for children in Nhu Thanh district, budget 300,000 USD... In addition, WVI organization provided relief in Thach Thanh district 50,000 Euro, Ba Thuoc 25,000 USD, Quan Hoa 25,000 USD due to storm No. 3 Yagi.

During a field trip to Thanh Hoa to survey programs and projects funded by WVI in Vietnam, Mr. Doseba Tua Sinay, Chief Representative of WVI in Vietnam, highly appreciated the effective coordination that helped programs and projects to be implemented on schedule, in line with the development orientation of the localities. Through the support in emergency relief work after Typhoon Yagi by WVI, affected households received timely support to restore their lives. Through the support in opening a microfinance branch in Ba Thuoc district, low-income households have access to capital and contributed to promoting sustainable economic development. With the effectiveness that the support programs and projects bring to the community, WVI is promoting the opening of a new regional support program in Muong Lat district and continuing to survey a new program in Nhu Xuan district.

With support through programs and projects by WVI in Vietnam in the province, it has actively contributed to community development, improving the material and spiritual life of people, especially the mountainous people of the province.
