From 3pm today, June 5, gasoline prices increased by more than 100 VND/liter, while oil prices increased or decreased depending on the type.
Meanwhile, oil prices increased and decreased in opposite directions: Diesel increased by 284 VND/liter, not higher than 17,420 VND/liter. Kerosene increased by 176 VND/liter, not higher than 17,284 VND/liter. Fuel oil in particular decreased by 86 VND/kg, not higher than 16,178 VND/kg.
In this period, the regulatory agency continues not to set aside or use the gasoline price stabilization fund for all products.
According to the regulator, the world oil market this period (from May 29 to June 4) was affected by key factors such as: OPEC+ maintained the same increase in oil production in July as in previous months; nuclear negotiations between the US and Iran (a member of OPEC); updated information on US tax policies on goods of trading partners; the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine...
The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days depending on the product.
The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on May 29 and the adjustment period on June 5 was: 75.670 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline (up 0.038 USD/barrel); 77.306 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 0.408 USD/barrel); 78.470 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 0.704 USD/barrel); 79.948 USD/barrel of diesel oil (up 1.298 USD/barrel); 426.338 USD/ton of fuel oil (down 4.546 USD/ton).
Previously, in the operating period on May 29, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 74 VND/liter, not higher than 19,196 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline increased by 33 VND/liter, not higher than 19,565 VND/liter.
Prices of all types of oil decreased simultaneously: Diesel oil decreased by 269 VND/liter, down to 17,136 VND/liter. Kerosene price decreased by 206 VND/liter, not higher than 17,108 VND/liter and fuel oil price decreased by 248 VND/kg, not higher than 16,264 VND/kg.
Since the beginning of the year, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 23 adjustment sessions, including 9 decreases, 9 increases and 5 opposite sessions.
