Gasoline prices continue to increase, RON 95-III up to nearly 20,500 VND per liter

According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, from 3:00 p.m. on March 27, the ceiling price of E5RON92 gasoline is 20,032 VND/liter, an increase of 337 VND/liter compared to the current price; RON95-III gasoline has a new price of 20,424 VND/liter, an increase of 337 VND/liter.

Also in this adjustment period, diesel price increased by 324 VND/liter, to 18,217 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 406 VND/liter, the new price is 18,524 VND/liter. Fuel oil alone decreased by 53 VND, down to 16,902 VND/kg.

During this operating period, the joint ministries did not set aside or use the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.

Most recently (March 20), the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by VND414/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by VND438/liter and kerosene increased by VND28/liter. In contrast, the price of diesel oil decreased by VND5/liter and fuel oil decreased by VND40/kg.

The operator said fuel prices rose last week due to a decrease in US crude and gasoline inventories. The US also plans to impose tariffs on goods from countries that buy oil from Venezuela, OPEC+ is likely to continue plans to increase oil production...

On average, over the past 7 days, the price of finished gasoline increased by about 1.9 - 2.1%, and that of oil increased by 1.9 - 2.5%. Accordingly, the price of each barrel of RON 95 gasoline increased to 82.3 USD and that of diesel oil to 85.8 USD. The price of fuel oil decreased by 0.7% to 459.6 USD/ton.
