The 11th season, jointly organized by the Danang Journalists Football Club (JFC Danang) and the Danang Journalists Association, took place on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025). Along with maintaining the annual playground, increasing opportunities for exchange, meeting, and connection between journalists in the Central Highlands, the football teams continued to join hands to carry out community activities towards the poor and the less fortunate in life.

Mr. Nguyen The Thinh - Chairman of JFC Danang, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament said that this year's tournament took place in a context where the professional activities of journalists were somewhat affected by the merger of administrative boundaries and even press planning. However, when the plan was announced, all the teams were excited to gather their staff to participate. In addition to celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the event was also a "many-in-one" opportunity: sports competitions, meetings, and volunteer activities. "Putting aside the daily work pressures, we are committed to making the tournament a day for colleagues. Brothers from Thanh Hoa also came, from Binh Dinh also came. Everyone was excited," Mr. Thinh shared.
According to the tournament's regulations, 8 teams were drawn into two groups of 4 teams each. The teams played a round robin to determine their rankings. The 2 top teams in each group entered the final to compete for the Championship Cup. The 2 second-place teams in each group played the 3rd place match. The 2 third-place teams in each group played the 5th place match. The 2 bottom teams played the 7th and 8th place match. With this format, all teams participating in the tournament played 4 matches. According to the draw results, Group A included the Binh Dinh press team, Hue press team, Ha Tinh press team and host JFC Danang. Group B included the defending champion Rclub Nghe An, Thanh Hoa press team, Quang Nam press team and Quang Tri press team.

Journalist Nguyen Manh Thanh Cong (athlete of the Quang Nam press team) expressed that maintaining a playground for more than 10 years is a great effort of each unit taking turns organizing as well as the cooperation of football-loving journalists in the Central region. "More than a football tournament, we get to meet, exchange, learn from each other, and join hands to share with the community. That is what the members and teams really appreciate," Thanh Cong said.
The tournament will take place over 2 days (May 31 and June 1) at Tuyen Son Sports Village, Da Nang City. The final match will take place on the afternoon of June 1, followed by a gala night to award prizes and meet and greet athletes and their relatives. Along with the football competition, in this year's tournament, 8 teams will also join hands to carry out community projects for the poor and colleagues in difficult circumstances. Before this season, since the tournament was founded, the teams have joined hands to do charity work worth hundreds of millions of VND. In 2024, from the contributions of the teams and the mobilization of generous donors, the tournament organizers joined hands to support the construction of houses for the poor in A Luoi district (Hue).
