The 18th Mini Football Tournament of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development's Youth Union

For 3 days (from May 26 to 28), at Tan Thai Long mini football field (Buon Ma Thuot City), the Youth Union of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development organized the 18th Traditional Men's Mini Football Tournament in 2023.

The tournament had 6 teams: Youth Union of the Provincial Forest Protection and Development Fund; Youth Union of the Office of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Forestry Department; Youth Union of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine; Joint force of the Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation; Team of former Youth Union officials of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The organizers awarded souvenir flags to the participating teams.

The teams are divided into two groups, playing a round robin to determine points, selecting the first and second teams from each group to enter the semi-finals; the two winning teams in the semi-finals enter the final to compete for the championship, the two losing teams compete for third place.

The Forestry Department and the former Youth Union cadres of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development took penalty kicks to compete for the championship.

This is an annual tournament, creating opportunities for union members and youth of units to exchange and strengthen solidarity, thereby promoting sports training movements, improving health, contributing to serving the work of units well, improving the quality of union activities and youth movements.

At the end of the tournament, the Forest Protection Department's football team won the championship; the team of former Youth Union officials of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development ranked second; the Youth Union of the Provincial Forest Protection and Development Fund won third prize and the Youth Union of the Office of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development won the consolation prize.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded individual prizes, including the "Best Goalkeeper" award to player Phan Van Dinh (Forestry Department) and the "Top Scorer" award to player Le Tan Cuong (Youth Union of the Provincial Forest Protection and Development Fund).
