On June 24, My Tho City Medical Center, Tien Giang Province, said that the unit had just received an emergency case of a 6-year-old girl whose right leg was caught in a wheel, resulting in a fracture of the lower end of her tibia.
Previously, at 7:30 a.m. the same day, CNKH (6 years old, residing in Dao Thanh commune, My Tho city) was taken by his grandmother on a motorbike on Huynh Tinh Cua street, ward 1, My Tho city.

When reaching the intersection near Nguyen Trai and Huynh Tinh Cua streets, baby H.'s leg was accidentally caught in the spokes of a motorbike wheel, causing the baby to cry.
The girl's grandmother stopped the car to check and discovered that her right heel was stuck in the wheel, so she shouted for help.
The woman's cry for help attracted the attention of the people and people quickly came to her rescue. About 10 minutes later, they were able to separate the girl's leg from the wheel.

Doctors recommend that parents instruct their children to place their feet in a safe position on the bike. The bike should have wheel covers to prevent children from putting their feet in the spokes, causing unfortunate accidents.
Wheels are covered with dirt and bacteria, so most wounds caused by wheel jams are at risk of infection. You need to go to a medical facility immediately for proper and timely care and treatment instructions to reduce complications.
