Monitoring of clean water supply according to the request of residents of SDU building (Ha Dong district)

On May 30, at the community room of SDU building (163 Tran Phu, Ha Dong district), the Urban Committee, Hanoi City People's Council chaired and coordinated with the committees of the City People's Council and relevant parties to organize a working session, survey the current status of clean water supply infrastructure and the results of troubleshooting, ensuring the quality of clean water supplied to residents living in the SDU apartment building.

Comrade Dam Van Huan, Head of the Urban Committee of the City People's Council chaired the meeting. Also attending were leaders of the Urban Committee, the Cultural - Social Committee, the Economic - Budget Committee of the City People's Council; representatives of the Department of Construction, the People's Committee of Ha Dong District, Song Da Urban Development and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and a number of related departments and branches.

The meeting was conducted based on the Law on Organization of Local Government and the direction of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council on monitoring and supervising the implementation of incident resolution and handling of the Call for Help from residents living in the SDU apartment building, at the request of the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation in the Petition Transfer Form No. 11/PCĐ-ĐDBQH dated May 15, 2025.

At the meeting, after listening to the opinions of some residents living in the SDU apartment building, the opinions of the representative of the Department of Construction, the investor, Song Da Urban Development and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, the People's Committee of Van Quan ward and the representative of the building's management board, comrade Dam Van Huan requested the Department of Construction to report in writing on the current status of the clean water supply infrastructure and the results of troubleshooting, ensuring the quality of clean water supplied to residents living in the SDU apartment building, and send it to the Standing Committee of the City People's Council for synthesis and reporting to the City National Assembly Delegation on May 31, 2025.

The Urban Committee and the City People's Council will continue to monitor this content and promptly inform residents.
