On the evening of July 17, Dong Nai Electricity Company Limited said that it had resolved the power outage at the 110kV transformer station located in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, restoring power to more than 100 businesses.
Accordingly, in the late afternoon of the same day, heavy rain and strong thunderstorms swept through some areas of Bien Hoa City. Specifically, strong winds blew away the corrugated iron roof and frame of the Mekong Logistics Company Limited (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park) and flew into a nearby 110kV transformer station.
At the scene, the lighting pole was broken, 1 sheet of corrugated iron was placed on the busbar gate pole and 5 other sheets of corrugated iron had electrical discharge marks in the yard area...
The incident caused 110 businesses in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park to lose power, affecting business operations.
Dong Nai Electricity quickly mobilized many officers and employees to the scene to fix the problem. By about 9:00 p.m., the problem was basically fixed and power was restored to many businesses.
Dong Nai Electricity representative made a record of the incident and requested Mekong Logistics Company Limited to remove the corrugated iron roof and related items right next to the wall of this 110 kV transformer station. If the above incident continues to occur, this company will be responsible for compensating for related damages.
