Mr. Pham Van Giang in Thuy Lam village was the first person to graft a new lychee variety onto a pink lychee tree.
This crop, his family has 2 new lychee varieties: U cuon hong and TH40 with a yield of more than 2 tons. The advantage of the two Thanh Ha and TH40 pink egg lychee varieties is that the fruit is much larger than the U cuon varieties grown in Thanh Ha before, with beautiful appearance, thick flesh, and small seeds.
The entire quantity of lychee above was purchased by Nhan Hoa Food Processing Company Limited ( Hanoi ) at the price of 150,000 VND/kg for export to the UK market.
Meanwhile, the average selling price of Thanh Ha early litchi on the market on the morning of June 3 was at 30,000 - 35,000 VND/kg.

Mr. Giang said that after harvesting lychee in 2023, he learned from experience and researched new lychee varieties for grafting with the desire to create new lychee fruit with high economic value.
In 2024, these lychee branches began to flower and bear fruit, but not much. This year the yield was quite high and he continued to propagate more after harvesting the lychee.
Thanks to the application of the GlobalGAP standard fabric production process, all of Mr. Giang's family's fabrics were purchased for export at the highest price among all lychee teas.
