In Ha Long City, the tourism and service center of the province, the Ha Long Carnival 2025 has just taken place, attracting a sharp increase in the number of tourists. To ensure the safety of the area, Bai Chay Ward Police has stepped up prevention, mobilized 100% of officers and soldiers on duty to be ready to perform their duties, promptly handle any arising situations related to security and order, ensuring the safety of people and tourists. Major Tran Vu Ha, Deputy Head of Bai Chay Ward Police (Ha Long City) said: The unit is divided into 5 professional teams, thereby promoting the capacity and professional skills of each officer and soldier. To ensure security and order right at the grassroots level, the Ward Police have arranged working groups to closely monitor the area and subjects, especially step up crime prevention, especially at tourist activity venues, and prevent subjects from taking advantage of crowded places to commit illegal acts.
Cai Dam Market (Bai Chay Ward) is a bustling place for business and trading activities. This is also a place where sidewalk encroachment often occurs. To overcome this situation, contributing to preserving the image of Ha Long tourism, especially during the holidays, the ward police force has increased patrols, control, reminders and handling of violations, vehicles stopping and parking in the wrong place, ensuring public order and urban order. Mr. Vu Van Duong, (owner of a service business in area 9A, Bai Chay Ward) said: With the reminder of the ward, I strictly comply with the display of goods not to encroach on the sidewalk, roadway, creating an open space, as well as urban civilization to create comfort for people and tourists.
In Tien An commune (Quang Yen town), to ensure security in the area, the commune police have coordinated with local authorities to establish 16 security and order protection teams in the villages, with 46 members. The security and order protection forces at the grassroots level in the area always uphold the determination, the spirit of not being afraid of difficulties, making efforts, sticking to the grassroots level, and actively participating in supporting the commune police force to perform well the task of ensuring security and order.
Members of security teams regularly patrol, grasp the local situation, proactively detect violations of the law, notify and support the police force to arrest subjects, prevent and resolve security-related incidents right at the facility. The security teams have participated in propaganda, mobilization and guidance for citizens of legal age to make ID cards according to regulations; guide the installation of electronic identification; manage drug addicts after rehabilitation; participate in helping people overcome natural disasters, which have been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party Committee, government and people.
