Combining 2 phases, investing more than 3,700 billion VND to build Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway

On May 29, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed a decision approving the adjustment of the investment policy for the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway construction investment project connecting with Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway.

Accordingly, the Government agreed to combine phases 1 and 2 to complete the entire project in 2023. The implementation period is from 2021 to 2023, with a total project investment of VND 3,753 billion.

The capital mobilized for the project is taken from the central budget of 2,900 billion VND and the local budget of 853 billion VND.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Transport to receive and hand over for management and operation the main route, intersections on the main route and works on the main route and works at intersections on the main route after the project is completed.

The People's Committees of Tuyen Quang and Phu Tho provinces will receive and manage the service roads, return roads, overpasses across the highway, the section connecting Ho Chi Minh road to IC9 intersection and other works on the route according to administrative boundaries after the project is completed.

The Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway investment project connecting with Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway has a total length of 40.2km. Of which, Tuyen Quang province has about 11.63km, Phu Tho has 28.57km.
