On July 4, 215 official delegates, who are outstanding members and young people in various fields, representing more than 80,000 youth members in Ha Nam province, attended the 6th Provincial Youth Union Congress, term 2024 - 2029.

Attending the event were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Ha Nam Province Le Thi Thuy; Standing Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Ngoc Luong.
At the solemn session, the delegates carried out the following contents: Presenting the direction and tasks of the Association and the youth movement for the 2024-2029 term; Consulting to elect a delegation to attend the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union for the 2024-2029 term; Reporting the results of consultation and introducing the Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union Committee, term VI; Saying goodbye to members of the Provincial Youth Union Committee, term V, who were not re-elected...
Accordingly, the Congress consulted and elected 33 members of the 6th Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union Committee, term 2024 - 2029. Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the 5th Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union, Tran Ngoc Nam, continued to be elected as Chairman of the 6th Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union.
Speaking at the Congress, Standing Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Ngoc Luong praised the achievements that the Union and the youth movement of Ha Nam province have achieved in the past term.

In particular, the movement "I love my Fatherland" - the main movement in the work of the Association has been seriously, systematically and creatively implemented by the Provincial Youth Union. Many good models and effective methods with the unique identity of the Provincial Association and the Association's branches have been effectively implemented. Typically, the projects of digitizing historical relics and red addresses in Ha Nam province help young people easily access and learn about local historical and cultural heritages; thereby fostering love and pride for the homeland. The Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union is also one of the few localities that effectively maintains the operation of the Office to support youth start-ups, annually organizing the Investment and Start-up Festival for young people.
During the term, 20 new branches were established in non-state enterprises; the policy of converting the model of branches, clubs, teams, and groups in residential areas into clubs, teams, and groups based on interests and ages was effectively implemented.
The President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union suggested that it is necessary to build a new generation of Ha Nam youth with comprehensive development associated with the movement "I love my Fatherland"; create an environment for the province's youth to actively participate in preserving, maintaining and promoting traditional cultural values, historical relics, cultural works, using culture as a driving force for economic development; focus on and be determined to increase the application of technology, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.
In particular, the Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union needs to research effective solutions to promote the mindset and entrepreneurial skills of young people; the organization needs to persevere and be determined to carry out the mission of solidarity and widely gather young people, especially specific youth groups.
Appreciating the results of the association's work and the youth movement of Ha Nam province in the period of 2019 - 2024, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Nam province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Le Thi Thuy requested the Provincial Youth Union to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation. Promote "Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh" associated with building a model of Ha Nam youth in the new period.

Along with that, focus on building and consolidating all levels of the association to be strong and comprehensive, truly a broad social organization, attracting the participation of all youth classes. Effectively deploy the movement "Accompanying young people to establish their careers and careers" through specific and practical activities. Proactively advise and propose to the Party on youth work; fulfill the role and position as a bridge between Party committees, authorities and youth.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and 13 outstanding individuals with outstanding achievements in the Association's work and youth movement during the past term.
The Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union Committee awarded 11 best works in the photo contest “Ha Nam in my heart”; gave 30 scholarships, each worth 3 million VND, to 30 students with especially difficult circumstances.
| With the slogan of action "Aspiration - Solidarity - Courage - Integration - Development", in the coming term, the Vietnam Youth Union of Ha Nam province has set 10 key targets. In particular, the Vietnam Youth Union of Ha Nam province strives to support and connect 40 innovative start-up projects of young people with businesses, venture capital funds or receive investment support from appropriate funding sources; 120,000 young people access digital capacity building activities, proficiently use digital media; 60,000 young people receive career counseling and guidance, of which 5,000 young people are introduced to jobs... Ha Nam Youth Union will continue to maintain and improve the effectiveness of the programs "Winter Volunteer", "Spring Volunteer", "March Border", "Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign". Promote the role of clubs and collective members under the Provincial Association in social security activities, for community life. |
