Hanoi: 8 people in Giap Bat alley escaped a fire at a motel at midnight

At around 0:00 on March 21, a fire suddenly broke out in Giap Bat alley, Hoang Mai district (Hanoi).

The fire started on the upper floor of a house in a small alley, causing many people to panic and pack their belongings and run to safety.

The area where the fire broke out was a motel, the fire broke out fiercely. As soon as the fire was discovered, people quickly contacted the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Hanoi City Police Command Center dispatched fire prevention, fighting and rescue police from Hoang Mai district to the scene.

After a period of organizing fire fighting and rescue, at 0:22 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police and local people, promptly bringing 8 people to safety.

The fire caused no human casualties, property damage is being assessed. The cause of the fire is currently being verified, investigated and clarified.
