Hanoi sets maximum price for notary services.

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a decision setting maximum prices for on-demand notarization services in the city.

Accordingly, the maximum price for on-demand notarization services in Hanoi is as follows:

Drafting of transactions includes: Contracts for sale, transfer, gift, exchange, lease, loan, and borrowing of property; contracts for mortgage, pledge, deposit, guarantee, escrow, capital contribution, and business cooperation; power of attorney; documents related to spouses (property division, property merger, agreements to put common property into business, agreements to appoint a representative to be named on the certificate, agreements on the marital property regime, agreements on surrogacy for humanitarian purposes); documents related to inheritance (notarized notices of acceptance of inheritance division documents, inheritance division, refusal of inheritance, meetings of heirs, appointment of an estate administrator, wills); declarations and commitments; documents amending, supplementing, canceling, and terminating transactions; other transactions; and revisions of draft transactions drafted by the applicant for notarization, with a maximum fee of 716,000 VND per document.

Typing draft transactions and other documents/papers costs a maximum of 119,000 VND per page.

Photocopying documents and printing draft transactions is priced at a maximum of 3,400 VND per A4 page.

The maximum price for a certified copy of a notarized document is 102,000 VND per document.

Translation of documents and texts related to transactions from foreign languages ​​to Vietnamese and vice versa: For English, Russian, French, German, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Spanish, the maximum price is 273,000 VND/A4 page; for other foreign languages, the price is 341,000 VND/A4 page.

Notary offices determine specific prices for each type of service, ensuring they do not exceed the maximum price, and publicly display these prices at their offices.
