Hanoi: Where can candidates studying under the old program register for the high school graduation exam?

These are candidates who have not graduated from high school from 2024 or earlier, who wish to take the exam to be recognized as high school graduates, and register for university and college admission this year.

This year is the year that the first group of students studying the 2018 General Education Program will take the high school graduation exam. However, because there are still many candidates studying the old program and needing to take the high school graduation exam, the Ministry of Education and Training has instructed the Departments to organize registration locations for this group of students.

The Ministry of Education and Training will develop two types of exams for two groups of candidates. Candidates taking the high school graduation exam under the 2006 General Education Program will be assigned separate exam sites.

In Hanoi, candidates who have not graduated from high school before 2024 (independent candidates) can go to the following reception points to submit their registration forms for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, all reception points are fully equipped with equipment, internet systems and a team of teachers on duty, ready to assist candidates registering for the exam. Candidates should note that these 6 points only accept high school graduation exam registration forms for candidates studying the 2006 General Education Program.

Today is the second day of 4 days for candidates to practice registering for the high school graduation exam on the exam management system of the Ministry of Education and Training.

For independent candidates, log in using the National Public Service Portal (white box with blue letters under the Login box), fill in account information or scan the VNeID code on your phone.

Note, independent candidates when registering online with VNeID still have to print the exam form, get confirmation from the ward police of the necessary documents and then submit it to the application receiving point along with documents such as priority points (if any). Therefore, you can register directly from the application submission stage if you do not want to register online.

Registration time for the 2025 high school graduation exam is from April 21 to 28.
