Hanoi honors 35 key industrial products in 2025

On the morning of November 15, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade held a ceremony to honor and award the title of key industrial products and Top 10 key industrial products of Hanoi City in 2025.

Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Qui Tien and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen, leaders of the Department of Industry, Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ); along with functional units of Hanoi City and many businesses inside and outside Hanoi.

The event is an activity to implement the Project on developing key industrial products of Hanoi City in 2025, chaired by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with Hanoi departments and branches.

Enterprises with key industrial products come to receive certification.

In 2025, Hanoi had 120 enterprises accessing information and responding to participate in the program, of which 30 enterprises with a total of 38 products registered for selection as key industrial products.

As a result of the 2025 selection, 35 products of 28 enterprises were submitted to the City People's Committee for recognition as key industrial products of Hanoi; of which 10 products of 9 enterprises achieved the highest scores and were honored in the Top 10.

Recognized products are in many fields: Information technology - high technology; mechanical engineering; electricity, electronics; construction materials and a number of other industries.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the total revenue of the registered products reached nearly 41.5 trillion VND, of which about 190 million USD was exported. Of the 28 participating enterprises, 11 enterprises achieved revenue of over 1,000 billion VND and 6 enterprises were in the Top 500 largest private enterprises in Vietnam in 2024 voted by Vietnam Report such as: Thuong Dinh Electric Wire and Cable Joint Stock Company, Tan A Dai Thanh Group Investment Joint Stock Company, Garment 10 Corporation - Joint Stock Company, Eurowindow Joint Stock Company, Nutricare Nutrition Joint Stock Company, MISA Joint Stock Company; 6 enterprises participated in the program for the first time with 10 new products.

Speaking at the event, Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Vo Nguyen Phong said: In 2025, the socio-economic situation of the whole country and Hanoi will be strongly affected by global fluctuations, changes in trade policies and extreme weather, big storms causing heavy damage, affecting production and life. In that context, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade has proactively and resolutely implemented assigned tasks, maintaining the growth target of over 8%.

The results of the first 10 months of the year showed many positive signs: IIP index increased by 6.9%; of which processing and manufacturing industry increased by 7%; electricity production and distribution increased by 5.5%; water supply and waste and wastewater treatment increased by 6.6%, contributing significantly to the overall growth of the City.

" This result is thanks in no small part to the efforts of the capital's industrial production business community in general and key industrial product manufacturing enterprises in particular, " Mr. Vo Nguyen Phong emphasized.

Government accompanies businesses

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the City People's Committee has issued a Project on developing key industrial products until 2020, with a vision to 2025; the Department of Industry and Trade continues to advise on developing the Project for the period up to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

The project aims to develop highly competitive industrial products with stable growth, in line with market trends, associated with sustainable development and environmental protection, ensuring synchronization with the socio-economic strategy of the capital.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in recent years, the Hanoi People's Committee has implemented many programs to support enterprises with products recognized as key industrial products of Hanoi such as: Improving the investment and production and business environment; supporting the development of science, technology, and human resources; Technical support; Business connection; promoting and honoring key industrial products and enterprises producing key industrial products, etc.

Through programs such as: Trade promotion, sustainable production and consumption, efficient energy use, etc. to support enterprises producing key industrial products to develop production, improve internal capacity, develop markets and enhance brand reputation.

Top 10 enterprises with key industrial products of the Capital.

In addition, enterprises participating in the key industrial product program have also made efforts to apply scientific and technical advances, modern advanced technology into production, constantly improving product designs and quality, systematizing enterprises according to international standards, improving the level of automation, implementing digital transformation, applying production according to the smart factory model (Smart Factory). Therefore, the products recognized as Hanoi's key industrial products are truly typical products, with high scientific and technological content and always have innovation.

Recognizing and honoring the city's key industrial products contributes to increasing brand value, thereby promoting production and business, creating conditions for businesses to maintain stability and sustainable development.
