After checking, although this type of milk was not on the list of fake milks seized by the authorities, it still raised a concern for Mr. C.

She also ordered milk advertised online to supplement calcium and treat bone and joint diseases. However, due to timely intervention from her children and grandchildren, Ms. PTC (Gia Hanh commune, Can Loc) canceled the order.
After seeing information about fake milk and fake medicine, Ms. C. shared: “I am really worried and upset because these are products that patients and children often use, but no one knows whether they are real or fake, and no one can guarantee. I hope that the authorities will actively intervene to investigate, detect, and promptly handle cases of counterfeit production and trade, protecting the rights of consumers.”
It can be said that people's concerns about fake drugs and fake health foods are completely justified, because they are closely linked to health and life, especially for children, the elderly, and the sick.
To reduce anxiety and insecurity, and ensure people's health, recently, the Ha Tinh Health Department has promptly issued documents in coordination with relevant authorities and localities to strengthen management, inspection, supervision and sanction administrative violations in the pharmaceutical sector. At the same time, warnings about counterfeit drugs and drugs illegally circulating on the market, and carrying out inspection and control of the quality and origin of traditional medicines.
The health sector has not yet discovered any establishments trading in fake drugs.
According to the representative of the Inspectorate of the Ha Tinh Department of Health, the inspection work in the field of pharmaceuticals and food safety is regularly and continuously deployed by the Department of Health. Since the beginning of the year, the Department of Health has established an interdisciplinary inspection team to combat smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods of medicines, medicinal herbs , herbal medicines, traditional medicines, cosmetics, functional foods and medical equipment. After inspecting 50 establishments, the authorities have administratively sanctioned 3 establishments and suspended the business operations of 7 establishments due to not completing legal procedures according to the provisions of law.
The health sector has increased sampling and testing to promptly detect violations in the pharmaceutical business.
In particular, recently, the Department of Health has requested units in the industry to strengthen inspection and supervision of the trading and use of drugs and health protection foods within the scope of management. Through inspection of practice establishments, no fake drugs or fake health protection foods have been detected. At medical examination and treatment facilities, no acts related to consulting, prescribing, and trading of fake drugs and functional foods have been detected.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Director of the Department of Health said: "The Department of Health is continuing to coordinate with relevant units to strengthen the fight against counterfeit drugs and health protection foods circulating on the market and comply with legal regulations on trading, retailing drugs, medicinal herbs, cosmetics, health protection foods and medical equipment in the province. The Department has also set up a hotline to receive information about counterfeit drugs, smuggled drugs, drugs of unknown origin in the province. Through this, we also request the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to strengthen the inspection and supervision of specialized clinics, traditional medicine treatment rooms, drug retail establishments... to comply with legal regulations on practice; strictly handle, absolutely do not cover up or tolerate violations".
The Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) has issued a document requesting the recall of all 12 food and nutritional products in the form of powdered milk identified as counterfeit according to the conclusion of the Investigation Police Agency - Ministry of Public Security and advising people not to use 72 milk products of Rance Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Hacofood Pharmaceutical Nutrition Joint Stock Company is under further investigation.
The Drug Administration also warned about counterfeit drugs and drugs illegally circulating on the market with 4 counterfeit products including: Clorocid TW3 tablets (Cloramphenicol 250mg), Tetracyclin TW3 tablets manufactured by Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 3; Pharcoter tablets (Codein base 10mg, Terpin hydrate 100mg), packaged in plastic bottles of 400 tablets manufactured by Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 1 (Pharbaco); counterfeit Neo-Codion drug products and 16 products not on the list of drugs that have been granted circulation registration certificates by the Ministry of Health such as: joint pain relief, bone spurs, sinusitis, neck and shoulder pills, bone loss plus...
