Specialists equip physicians with skills in outpatient emergency care.

By June 2025, the American Heart Association continued to coordinate with Ha Tinh General Hospital to organize a community first aid training course with the goal of raising awareness and equipping the community with basic first aid skills. During the course, students were trained in first aid skills, initial, quick and correct treatment measures in health emergencies such as: accidents, suffocation, cardiac arrest, heavy bleeding, broken bones... before the victim was taken to a medical facility. The first aid training course not only provides professional knowledge but also enhances responsibility and awareness of protecting life. This is also an important asset for those who work in environments prone to accidents or who regularly come into contact with the community.

Doctor Tran Tien - Deputy Head of the Department of Emergency and Poison Control, member of the emergency team outside the hospital said: "Through training courses, the members of the team not only fully grasp the skills to handle situations and are granted certificates, but more importantly, they also take on the role of communicating and guiding lower-level medical facilities to create a widespread emergency network outside the hospital, thereby improving the effectiveness of emergency work for people."
