According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 28, the northern provinces will continue to have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places with rainfall ranging from 15 - 30 mm, locally over 70 mm.

Last night and early morning of June 28, the Northern region had scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain. It is forecasted that from the night of June 28 to the night of June 29, the Northern region will continue to have moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms; some places will experience very heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 50 - 120 mm, some places over 250 mm.

Notably, during the day and night of June 30, the North is likely to experience widespread heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 40 - 80 mm, with some places exceeding 150 mm. This rain may last until around July 2. The total rainfall for the entire period in the North is expected to range from 100 - 300 mm, with some places possibly exceeding 500 mm.
