Two households in Binh Quy commune handed over the land for the National Highway 14E project before the forced eviction.

(QNO) - This afternoon, May 7, Mr. Dang Tan Duc - Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Quy Commune (Thang Binh) said that Mr. Dang Van Hung's household and Mr. Dang Quang Vinh's household (Quy Thanh 1 village) signed the minutes of handing over the land to serve the construction of the National Highway 14E project before proceeding with the forced land acquisition.

Mr. Dang Van Hung's household is using ^72.7m2 of perennial land on plot number 27 (part of the plot), map sheet number 2; plot number 97, cadastral map sheet number 12 in Quy Thanh 1 village. Mr. Dang Quang Vinh's household is using an area of ^​​40.2m2 of rural residential land, on plot number 14 (part of the plot), map sheet number 2; on plot number 93/1, cadastral map sheet number 12. These affected areas are subject to recovery to implement the National Highway 14E project.

On May 5, the People's Committee of Thang Binh district issued Decisions No. 746 and 748 on the compulsory land recovery from the households of Mr. Dang Van Hung and Mr. Dang Quang Vinh. The expected enforcement date is May 9.

Continuously from May 5 to this afternoon, May 7, the District and Commune Land Reclamation Enforcement Committee coordinated with relevant agencies to strengthen advocacy and propaganda, and the two households agreed to hand over the land. The People's Committee of Thang Binh District also canceled the two above-mentioned enforcement decisions.
