Hai Long warned Vietnam team in the match against Laos

Midfielder Nguyen Hai Long affirmed that Laos is different, and the Vietnamese team must have the best preparation to aim for victory.

In the first leg of Group F, the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup, Vietnam easily won 5-0 against Laos. However, in the second leg, coach Kim Sang Sik 's team, in addition to having to play away, also made progress against Laos.

Midfielder Hai Long said: "Laos is definitely different, and so is the Vietnam team. We will have a meeting to analyze the opponent. The coaching staff has tactical plans to confront the home team."

Besides, Hai Long mentioned the quality of the playing field in Laos: "The field here is not very good but I think that is not too much of a concern, and the players must try to adapt to focus on their skills."

Like his teammates, Hai Long was very happy when Xuan Son returned to the Vietnamese team after nearly a year of injury treatment. He said: "Xuan Son is a very good player, and when playing with him, the surrounding players learn a lot. Xuan Son's return helps the Vietnamese team gain significant strength."

On the afternoon of November 17, the Vietnamese team continued to practice in Vientiane (Laos), preparing for the match against the home team at 7:00 p.m. on November 19.
