Two provinces merge, Kon Tum officials feel secure because Quang Ngai is ready to welcome their children to study

Mr. Tran Hoang Tuan - Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee - said that the province is preparing the best to welcome Kon Tum officials to Quang Ngai to work after the two provinces merge. In particular, taking care of the schooling place for children of Kon Tum officials following their parents is of top concern.

According to the direction of the Central Government, Quang Ngai and Kon Tum provinces will merge and officially come into operation from September 1. The political and administrative center of the new Quang Ngai province will be located in the current Quang Ngai city.

Therefore, in addition to arranging the pick-up schedule and official residence for officials from Kon Tum to work, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province also discussed the schools that pick up children of officials from Kon Tum to work in Quang Ngai, and requested the provincial Department of Education and Training to proactively grasp the number of schools and classrooms, ready to welcome students to study immediately.

Mr. Tuan said the two provinces are meeting to discuss and finalize the merger project to unify and submit it to the central government for consideration and decision.

Regarding the issue of student learning, Quang Ngai province has proactively implemented and waited for Kon Tum province to provide a list of the number of children of officials who need to study when following their parents to Quang Ngai city to work in order to make specific arrangements.

" Quang Ngai province's viewpoint is that students' education is the number one priority. We will arrange the most convenient place to study for the children of Kon Tum province officials when they come to work at the administrative center of the new Quang Ngai province after the merger. Officials, civil servants of Kon Tum province in particular and the public in general can rest assured and not worry about this issue," Mr. Tuan affirmed.

On the Kon Tum province side, Ms. Pham Thi Trung - Director of the Department of Education and Training - sent a document to the departments, branches, organizations and units of the province regarding the registration of the need to arrange for children to study in Quang Ngai.

The Department of Education and Training of Kon Tum province requests departments, branches, organizations, agencies, and units to inform cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in their units who need to transfer their children studying at schools in Kon Tum to study in Quang Ngai to know and register.

The Department of Education and Training of Kon Tum province requests that units compile a list of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the unit, under the authority of the management unit, who need to transfer schools, and send it to the department to coordinate with the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai province to deploy appropriate plans.
