Two military generals retire at the same time

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang has signed retirement decisions from November 1, 2023 for a number of officials of the Ministry of National Defense.

Specifically, according to Decision No. 1046/QD-TTg, Major General Du Truong Giang - Deputy Commander of Military Region 7, Ministry of National Defense, will retire from November 1, 2023.

Previously, on the afternoon of October 30, the Military Region 7 Command held a conference to hand over the duties and responsibilities of Deputy Commander of Military Region 7 to Major General Du Truong Giang.

The conference also approved the minutes of handover of duties and responsibilities of the Deputy Commander of Military Region 7. Accordingly, Major General Dang Van Lam - Deputy Commander of Military Region received and monitored the areas of Technical, Inspection - Legal and Office work to replace Major General Du Truong Giang, Deputy Commander of Military Region 7, who retired according to the regime.

According to Decision No. 1047/QD-TTg, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Dinh Hong - Political Commissar of the National Defense Academy, Ministry of National Defense, will also retire from November 1, 2023.
