On the morning of April 27, at Son Tien eco-tourism area (An Hoa ward, Bien Hoa city), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province officially opened the largest-ever Hot Air Balloon Festival.

To ensure the festival, the organizers have arranged for traffic control and guided visitors to attend the festival.

In addition, traffic police, militia and military forces are also deployed at many locations to ensure the festival takes place smoothly and safely.

According to records, from 6:30 a.m., thousands of people in Bien Hoa city and neighboring districts came to Son Tien tourist area to wait for the festival to officially open. Many tourists from Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong also came to participate.

According to plan, 50 large and small hot air balloons were to fly into the sky at the same time, but due to some unsuitable conditions, only about 30 hot air balloons were able to fly.

However, visitors were excited when they saw the giant balls floating in the sky for the first time. The festival atmosphere was filled with laughter and cheers.

The hot air balloon festival creates a vivid picture with "colorful balloons" standing out against the deep blue sky, making many young people admire and compete to check-in.

"A few days ago, I heard about the hot air balloon festival in Dong Nai, and it was a holiday, so I decided to take the kids to see it. Although the weather was a bit hot, the kids were all very excited about these giant, colorful hot air balloons," said Nguyen Thi Le, a tourist from Binh Duong.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Mr. Duong Minh Dung, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, said that the Hot Air Balloon Festival is a unique cultural and tourism event, marking a new development step in the strategy of promoting the image and tourism potential of Dong Nai.

Thereby, building a unique tourism product brand, creating strong appeal, attracting a large number of people, domestic and international tourists to participate.

Coming to the Hot Air Balloon Festival, visitors can experience hot air balloon flying, experience flying, visit the giant hot air balloon and especially the magical hot air balloon lantern night.

There are also auxiliary performances such as: motorized paragliders, fabric-winged airplanes, artistic aerodynamic kites, children's brass band performances, etc.

"This is not only a festival of color, creativity and investment attraction, but also an opportunity for people and tourists to experience soaring moments and admire the beauty from an ideal height. I believe that this year's Hot Air Balloon Festival promises to bring a vibrant, attractive and emotional cultural and tourism space," Mr. Dung shared.

The festival is expected to last for 4 days (from April 27 to 30), open to visitors for free to come and enjoy.
