These days at the Van Phong - Nha Trang highway construction site, hundreds of workers and engineers are still working hard.
Workers and engineers of Son Hai Group are still working hard, the work is divided into many different teams, but the atmosphere at the construction site is mostly cheerful and everyone is excited.
Son Hai is organizing construction at the site in 3 shifts, 4 teams continuously with construction teams, working around the clock with about more than 700 workers.
Engineer Nguyen Thanh Dong (Son Hai Group) said that the workers and machines have been working continuously these past few days. Today alone (March 10th of the lunar calendar), more than 700 workers and 300 machines of all kinds are still working continuously at the construction site. The company always ensures the diet and encourages the workers, so everyone is happy to work.
Despite the extremely hot weather, workers at the Van Phong - Nha Trang highway construction site still work in shifts continuously.
According to engineer Nguyen Thanh Dong, it is expected that the contract package implemented by Son Hai on the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway will be completed earlier than planned, currently 8 bridges and 25 civil tunnels are basically completed.
Son Hai Group workers worked overtime to meet the project's schedule. The project was divided into two main packages. Package XL.02 was implemented by a consortium of Son Hai Group Co., Ltd. and Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation; the contract duration was 34 months.
The North-South Expressway construction investment component project, Van Phong - Nha Trang section, was approved by the Ministry of Transport in Decision No. 910/QD-BGTVT dated July 13, 2022. The project is invested by Project Management Board 7 (Ministry of Transport). The first-class road traffic project has a total investment of more than VND 11,808 billion, using the State budget.

The project has a total route length of 83.35 km; the starting point is at Km285+000 connecting the southern entrance road of Co Ma tunnel, in Van Ninh district; the end point is at Km368+350 connecting the starting point of the expressway construction investment component project, Nha Trang - Cam Lam section, passing through Khanh Hoa province.
