(DN) - On November 1, according to the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Provincial Road 25C Construction Project, from National Highway 51 to Rural Road 19 (Phase 1), has only handed over an area of ​​about 2,000 square meters, equivalent to about 0.74% of the total area. Due to the small area of ​​land that has been handed over, the contractor is currently unable to implement the project.

The Provincial Road Construction Project 25C will construct a new route of more than 2km long from National Highway 51 to Provincial Road 19. The newly constructed section has a cross-section of 45m in phase 1. Three intersections at the same level will also be built on the route, including the intersection with Provincial Road 19, Provincial Road 12 and National Highway 51. At the same time, a new Ba Ky bridge will be constructed with a length of more than 24.5m and a width of 37m.

For site clearance work, land will be reclaimed within the construction boundary of 100m.

The project has a total investment of more than 647 billion VND, the total land area that needs to be cleared to implement the project is about 27 hectares.

The Provincial Road 25C Construction Project started construction in early 2025 with the goal of forming a connecting axis from Long Thanh International Airport (airport) to Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City, meeting the transportation needs of Long Thanh Airport when it comes into operation. The project is implemented in the communes of Phuoc An and Long Phuoc (Dong Nai province).

The compensation, site clearance and resettlement sub-project of the Provincial Road 25C Construction Project was assigned to the branches of the Long Thanh and Nhon Trach Land Fund Development Center for implementation.

Currently, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has proposed the People's Committees of Long Phuoc and Phuoc An communes, the Project Management Board of Region 5 and the branches of the Long Thanh and Nhon Trach Land Fund Development Center to soon complete the site clearance and handover of land plots in a number of priority locations for contractors to implement the project.
