On the evening of August 1, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy required 266 candidates to provide proof of IELTS, SAT, TOEFL certificates and send them to the school.

This move was made after July 31, when the Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy officially received all the additional data of international certificates on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training. To ensure fairness and transparency, the school requests that candidates provide information for the school to authenticate the certificate in one of the following three forms:

Submit certified copies of international certificates directly to the school.

Submit certified copies of international certificates by post (express, priority).

Provide account information and login information of candidates when taking IELTS/ TOEFL BT/ SAT certificate exams at the address here.

This year, 2,010 candidates with IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT certificates registered for admission to Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy using the admission method combining international certificates with high school graduation exam scores.

With an IELTS certificate of 6.0, TOEFL of 80 or SAT of 1340/1600 or higher, candidates will receive additional admission points according to the following formula: IELTS: 0.9 x IELTS score/9; TOEFL: 0.9 x TOEFL score/120; SAT: 0.9 x SAT score/1,600.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Khoi, Head of the school's Training Department, recommended that 1,744 candidates have submitted full evidence, so the remaining 266 candidates who have submitted on the Ministry of Education and Training's system need to quickly provide evidence so as not to affect their admission rights.

In addition, there are 315 candidates who do not meet the threshold requirement for bonus points. These candidates have IELTS certificates from 5.0 to 5.5.
