Thanh Nien reporters noted that, despite the late hour, the stream of people still stretched for kilometers from the Red slope area to Truc Lam Palace. Everyone moved in an orderly manner, clasped their hands in prayer, and chanted sutras throughout the journey, creating a solemn and sacred space in the middle of the sacred Yen Tu mountain range.
Among the crowd, the elderly Buddhists could not hide their emotions when they saw the Buddha's relics for the first time in their lives. Mrs. Do Thi Tuyet Lan (80 years old, residing in Ha Phong Ward, Ha Long City) could not hold back her tears when entering the area where the Buddha's relics were enshrined.

"I had knee pain and had difficulty walking. But when I heard that there were Buddha relics in Yen Tu, I told my children to definitely take me there. This was probably the first and last time in my life that I would be able to see Buddha relics. I cried because my lifelong wish had now come true," Ms. Lan shared.
In the same mood, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thiep (78 years old, from Pho Yen, Thai Nguyen ) traveled hundreds of kilometers, lining up since noon just to stand before the Buddha's relics once in her life.
"I didn't think I would have such a precious opportunity. I am grateful to the State and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha for giving us the opportunity to pay homage," Ms. Thiep said emotionally.
