The cross-country blood donation campaign "Red Journey XIII 2025" is held from May 30 to July 30, 2025 in 48 provinces and cities across the country.
It is expected that this year's National Red Journey will receive about 100,000 units of blood.
In 2013, the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion coordinated with other units to propose the idea of organizing a cross-country blood donation campaign called "Red Journey" and was implemented by the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation.
To date, after 12 years, 59 provinces and cities across the country have participated in the “Red Journey,” with nearly one million units of blood donated.
