Exciting 2nd Ho Chi Minh City Medical and Pharmaceutical Tennis Club Tournament 2023

This is a tournament with the aim of contributing to the development of the sports movement in general and tennis in particular. Besides, it is to encourage sports practice, improve health, solidarity and sharing among members in the health sector. Through this tournament, the Ho Chi Minh City Medical Tennis Club will build a scoreboard for health sector players to create fairer and more attractive tournaments and playgrounds.

Many players participated in the tournament

This year's tournament was attended by nearly 100 players who are doctors, pharmacists, dentists, and bachelors of medicine and pharmacy working at medical facilities in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities across the country. With two men's doubles events of 1,300 points and 1,400 points, the tournament had tense and "breathtaking" matches with very close wins from players from the medical sector.

After overcoming difficult matches, the men's pair of pharmacist Nguyen Van Phi and doctor Cao Quoc Hung met doctor Nguyen Khac Dung and doctor Phan Tri Tin in the final match of the 1,300-point event. With better coordination and more consistent shots, the pair of pharmacist Nguyen Van Phi and doctor Cao Quoc Hung won the championship. The two pairs of doctors Pham Hong Trang - Vo Van Nhan and Nguyen Van My An - Le Trung Tin tied for third place.

The winners of the 1,400 point event

In the 1,400-point category, the pair of doctors Do Quang Thanh - Pham Quang Minh won against doctors Ho Thanh Phong - Nguyen Hoang Be in the final match to win the championship. The third-place pair were pharmacists Mai Danh Loi - doctor Tran Quang Tien and pharmacists Tran Vu Duy Khanh - doctor Vo Xuan Phong.
