Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof said that leaders attending an online conference chaired by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on March 15 reached a general agreement on continued military and financial support for Ukraine.

In a statement on social network X, Prime Minister Schoof stated: "The proposals from the US and Ukraine for a temporary ceasefire also seem encouraging. Now, the most important thing is to continue to put pressure on Russia to sit at the negotiating table."
Meanwhile, on the same day, March 15, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni confirmed that the country has no plans to participate in a military mission in Ukraine to support a potential peace deal with Russia.
The Italian government's statement came after Ms Meloni took part in a video conference on Ukraine organised by Mr Starmer.
The text reads: "The Prime Minister confirms that Italy intends to continue to cooperate with European and Western partners and with the United States to identify reliable and effective security guarantees, but reaffirms that Rome has no plans to join a military force that could be deployed on the ground."
After the video conference, Prime Minister Starme announced that the coalition of the willing is entering the operational phase. Military officials will meet in the UK on March 20 to consider ways to strengthen the peace agreement in the future.
Also on March 15, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky approved the composition of his country's delegation "to cooperate with international partners" to conduct peace negotiations.
According to the decree published, the negotiating group will include the Head of the Presidential Administration Andriy Yermak (Head of the Delegation), Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Pavel Palytsia. However, the decree does not specify which delegation will participate in the negotiations and with whom.
The Head of the delegation has the right to change the composition of the negotiating team, as well as mobilize staff from state agencies, enterprises, institutes, organizations, scientific advisors and experts to ensure the work of the delegation.
Both Kiev and Moscow have now received a 30-day ceasefire proposal from Washington.
Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed in principle, but said there were “many elements” that needed to be carefully studied, such as who would order the ceasefire and control Ukraine’s actions during it.
Noting that Kiev could use the temporary ceasefire to mobilize troops, Putin did not rule out discussing the idea of a ceasefire in the Eastern European country with US President Donald Trump.
