At the Ceremony, the delegates reviewed the heroic fighting tradition, the resilient and indomitable spirit of the Vietnamese people. During the resistance war against the US to save the country, many members of the Association were soldiers who directly participated in major campaigns, contributing to the historic victory, the peak of which was the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, liberating the South and unifying the country.
Returning to civilian life, the former soldiers continue to promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", actively participate in economic development, maintain a core role in the community, act as a bridge between the Party, the government and the people; at the same time, propagate and educate the revolutionary tradition to the younger generation.
Currently, the Association has many businesses operating effectively, making a clear mark in economic development and ensuring social security. In 2024, the Association's total revenue will reach over 20,000 billion VND, creating regular jobs for 8,000 workers, with an income of 9-15 million VND/person/month. 100% of units pay taxes in full, no businesses owe social insurance or wages to employees.
In addition to production and business activities, member enterprises also actively participate in social work, contributing to the construction of many "Comradely Love" houses, attaching red addresses and supporting families with special difficulties, with a total value of over 1.7 billion VND...

On this occasion, the Association presented 9 gifts to express gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; organized the admission of new members; and at the same time commended and awarded Certificates of the Central Vietnam Veterans Association and Certificates of the Provincial Veterans Association to 63 outstanding members in production and business in 2024.
