At Tran Quy Cap Primary School (Tam Ngoc Commune), since Resolution 09 was implemented, it has brought about positive results, creating clear changes. The school has enhanced basic skillseducation for students through teaching activities and organizing experiential activities outside of class hours.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mot - Principal of Tran Quy Cap Primary School said that the teaching method has been innovated according to the motto of taking the learner as the center, promoting the positivity of students in the direction of self-study, self-assessment, and self-acquisition of knowledge; teachers are the organizers, raise issues, and pose problems for students to think. At the same time, they help students analyze, synthesize, observe, and apply knowledge to practice.
“Resolution 09 contributed to remarkable results. The school was recognized for excellently completing its tasks each school year, contributing to the city's overall education career,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Mot.
For secondary schools, the implementation of Resolution 09 has also brought many positive results. For example, Le Hong Phong Secondary School (An My Ward) has received investment to upgrade facilities, the number of classrooms and students has increased each school year.
Accordingly, in the 2021-2022 school year, the school has 20 classes with 842 students; in the 2022-2023 school year, there will be an increase of 1 class and nearly 30 students; by this school year, the school has more than 900 students. The staff and teachers are standardized according to regulations at a rate of 100%.
The school has full equipment to serve teaching as required, 100% of classrooms have televisions to serve teaching, the library meets the criteria of an excellent and friendly library, fully equipped with information technology, and has a sports field.
Or at Thai Phien Secondary School (Tam Thanh commune), the school focuses on two key tasks: piloting two-session schooling per day and building a happy school.
Starting from October 2023, the school will implement 2 sessions/day for grades 6 and 8. This activity has received the support of parents and initially brought about effectiveness for both students.

Improve the quality of key education
As soon as Resolution 09 was issued, Tam Ky City People's Committee issued specific plans to implement the targets set out in the resolution. Thereby, contributing to the continued development of the city's education sector, and maintaining the quality of the spearhead movement.

The emulation movement in the industry has many improvements, typically the City Department of Education and Training was awarded the Second Class Labor Medalby the President ; at the same time, it always maintains its top position among the 9 Departments of Education and Training of districts, towns and cities in the delta.
After 4 years of implementing Resolution 09, Tam Ky has invested more than 150 billion VND in construction, repair, and equipment purchase for schools. In 2024 alone, the city will invest 91 billion VND to build and repair 3 secondary schools: Le Hong Phong Secondary School, Huynh Thuc Khang Secondary School, and Tran Quy Cap Primary School.
In 2025, Tam Ky piloted the construction of digital libraries at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School, Ly Thuong Kiet Secondary School and STEM classrooms at Ly Tu Trong Secondary School with a total investment of 11.5 billion VND.
In addition to the city's budget, localities have also allocated funds to invest in building multi-purpose houses, football fields, fences, gates, etc., contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning at schools.
As of April 2025, 83.7% of kindergartens, preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools have facilities to ensure 2 sessions/day; 62.5% of schools have physical education areas and multi-purpose halls; 100% of schools have clean, beautiful toilets...
Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Tam Ky City said: "Resolution 09 of the Tam Ky City Party Committee has been effectively and in-depth implemented by the city's education sector and has brought about outstanding results. The clearest evidence of these results is that the quality of teaching and learning in the city continues to be at the top of the province. At the same time, the movement of excellent student competitions at all levels, the rate of students achieving high prizes in provincial, national and international competitions is increasing...".
