Regarding the content reflected on social networks, Ms. Le Thi Quy, Principal of Hai Thanh A Primary School, said: The amount of more than 103 million VND is not a parent fund but a socialized source, implemented according to the plan to sponsor facilities for the 2024-2025 school year. The plan has been agreed upon and approved in principle by the People's Committee of Hai Thanh Ward and the Department of Education and Training of Nghi Son Town. All revenues have physical evidence, vouchers, and complete records.

According to Ms. Quy, the 81 million VND is a fund that the Parents' Representative Board organized and spent, not included in the school's official revenue. The school has sent an official report to the Nghi Son Town Department of Education and Training to clarify the matter.

After the article was published, a person claiming to be a teacher at Hai Thanh A Primary School sent a message to the Facebook account owner, expressing his wish that the article be removed because he was concerned about the impact on the school’s image. During the conversation, this person mentioned the amount of 5 million VND as a negotiation offer, but the account owner did not agree.

Talking to VietNamNet reporters about this content, Ms. Le Thi Quy - Principal of Hai Thanh A Primary School - confirmed that she knew about the content being spread and said that the person who sent the message was Mr. Nguyen Van Sy, the homeroom teacher of class 5C. However, she affirmed: "I myself did not direct or ask Mr. Sy or anyone to contact the poster to request the removal of the article." Ms. Quy asked Mr. Sy to report and explain the incident.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Sy’s report, after reading the article on Facebook, he felt worried because he thought the article would affect the reputation of the school where he was working. Therefore, he proactively sent a message with the purpose of convincing the person who posted the article to remove it. During the exchange, the account owner mentioned that if they wanted to remove the article, they “would have to pay”, and the teacher responded to “probe and be alert to the risk of being scammed or blackmailed”.

Mr. Sy affirmed that no one asked or directed him to propose spending money.

In the report, Mr. Sy also stated: Initially, due to mental panic, he deleted Facebook and reported that his Facebook had been hacked for about a month.

The principal explained the spending of nearly 200 million VND from the parent fund during the school year . The principal of Hai Thanh A Primary School, Hai Thanh Ward (Nghi Son Town, Thanh Hoa) has just reported on the school's revenues and expenditures after receiving feedback.
