Rector of Hanoi Law University holds the position of Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh province

On the morning of April 28, at the 20th session (special session) of the People's Council of Tay Ninh province, term X, term 2021 - 2026, the election of the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province was held for Mr. Doan Trung Kien, Principal of Hanoi Law University.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented a report on the introduction of personnel for the election of the position of Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026 for Mr. Doan Trung Kien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Rector of Hanoi Law University.

Mr. Doan Trung Kien has just been elected Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee.

As a result, Mr. Doan Trung Kien was elected by the People's Council of Tay Ninh province to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Thereby, to perfect the leadership positions, ensure the local government apparatus operates effectively and efficiently, meeting the development requirements in the coming period.

Previously, on April 26, at the 55th meeting of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Central Executive Committee on the transfer and appointment to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term for Mr. Doan Trung Kien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of Hanoi Law University.

Mr. Doan Trung Kien (46 years old) has a PhD in Law; a BA in English; and a high level of political theory. Mr. Doan Trung Kien used to be a lecturer at Hanoi Law University. In 2012, he transferred to the Government Office as a specialist in the Legal Department and was appointed to the position of Deputy Director, Deputy Director of the Personnel Department.

Since September 2016, he was appointed as Acting Director and then Director of the Judicial Academy (Ministry of Justice); from August 2020 to present, he has been Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of Hanoi Law University.
