"It was a difficult match, and it's too early to say anything about the result. We prepared as carefully as possible. If the players do as well as planned, U23 Vietnam will win.

We have played one less match and that is a small advantage. But the final match will be more tense and stressful, so the fighting spirit is very important. The team must try to overcome this challenge," coach Kim Sang Sik said at a press conference before the final match of the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 tournament against host U23 Indonesia.

Evaluating the opponent, coach Kim Sang Sik said: "I think their lineup has not changed. Although U23 Indonesia played 120 minutes with U23 Thailand and had many young players, with 3 days off, they have enough time to recover."

Meanwhile, midfielder Viktor Le expressed his determination: "We are well prepared, taking each step one by one, ready for the final match and to win, bringing the championship trophy back to Vietnam.

I am always confident in every match. I don't think too much about scoring, because the more I think, the more difficult it is. The important thing is to keep a relaxed spirit. If the goal comes, I am very happy."

The final match between U23 Vietnam vs U23 Indonesia will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 29 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta.
