On the morning of May 23, Coach Park Hang-seo visited HAGL Club and LPBank HAGL Academy. Welcoming the former head coach of the Vietnam national team were Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc (Bau Duc), Chairman of HAGL Club; leaders of the academy and nearly 200 players of the first team and students of the youth teams.
At the meeting at Ham Rong, Coach Park Hang-seo expressed his deep gratitude to Mr. Duc. At the same time, Mr. Duc also supported Mr. Park during his more than 5 years leading the Vietnam national team.

Coach Park Hang-seo shares joy in new position
Coach Park shared his joy with Mr. Duc, who is currently holding the position of Vice President of the Korean Football Association (KFA), in charge of the national team participating in the 2026 World Cup. HAGL Club President Doan Nguyen Duc sent his best wishes to Coach Park for success in his new position, helping the Korean team to recreate its historic achievement (winning 4th place at the 2002 World Cup). In 2002, Mr. Park Hang-seo was assistant coach Guus Hiddink.
After visiting the facilities and talking with coaches and players, Coach Park Hang-seo highly appreciated the efforts of HAGL Club and LPBank HAGL Academy in training and educating youth football.
In Vietnam, Mr. Park Hang-seo is currently an advisor for Bac Ninh Club, a team playing in the second division. After leaving the Vietnam national team in early 2023, Mr. Park will only serve as an advisor, while also running an international football academy named after himself in Hanoi .
During his 5 years working in Vietnam, Coach Park Hang-seo has achieved great success with the 2018 AFF Cup championship, a ticket to the quarter-finals of the 2019 Asian Cup and the 3rd qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup with the Vietnam team, bringing the U.23 Vietnam team to the final of the 2018 U.23 Asian Cup, winning 2 gold medals at the 2019 and 2022 SEA Games, helping the Vietnam Olympic team reach the semi-finals of the 18th ASIAD.
