After a convincing 3-0 victory over the Philippines women's team in the second round of Group B of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship, Vietnam's head coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang shared his thoughts on his players' performance.

He said: "Today the team entered the game better than the previous match. The spirit of the players was also better. Our team controlled the game and from there had many advantageous situations."

Coach Dinh Hoang highly appreciated his players' efforts after two matches.

Analyzing the developments on the field, Coach Hoang shared: "Each moment of the match will have different situations. In the first half, we played with higher pressing, not giving the opponent much space to develop. In the second half, we increased our concentration and stability. I am very happy that the team won. It was the effort of all the athletes, you played with more than 100% of your strength."

When asked about preparations for the upcoming match against defending champion Iran, coach Dinh Hoang affirmed: "After each match, the coaching staff will analyze and evaluate to see what the team has done well and what is not so good, and will also analyze the Iranian team to have a reasonable strategy for the next match."

Regarding the squad situation, Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang also added: "Currently, after the match, there are no serious injuries. Some players may be a bit overloaded, so the coaching staff will have a solution to help them get in the best shape for the next match."

With two consecutive wins in the group stage, the Vietnamese women's futsal team is temporarily leading Group B, when the match between Iran and Hong Kong (China) will take place this afternoon.

The final match of the group stage of the Vietnamese women's futsal team will take place at 4:00 p.m. (Vietnam time) on May 11 at the Hohhot Sports Center (China).
