" U23 Indonesia is playing with the strongest squad. In the last training session, I checked to see if the players were ready to compete. The recent training sessions were only light training to recover after the intense semi-final match. The team's spirit is very good. U23 Indonesia is well prepared in all aspects, ready to compete with U23 Vietnam in the final match," said coach Gerald Vanenburg.

U23 Indonesia is facing the risk of losing three key players in the final match of U23 Southeast Asia when naturalized striker Jens Raven and two attacking midfielders Arkhan Fikri and Toni Fermansyah are injured.

Talking about the squad situation, the captain of U23 Indonesia said: "I think the players are fine. Hopefully they have the best preparation for the final match. But if some people cannot play, I still have to find other options."

In the semi-final match, U23 Indonesia had to go through 120 minutes of competition and a thrilling penalty shootout with U23 Vietnam. Coach Gerald Vanenburg said he and his players were ready if the scenario repeated itself in the final match with U23 Vietnam.

"It's no problem if we go into a penalty shootout with U23 Vietnam. When taking penalties, the important thing is the spirit, whoever is confident will take it. The U23 Indonesian players did well in the semi-final match with U23 Thailand so there's no problem with this issue," Coach Gerald Vanenburg concluded.

The final match between U23 Vietnam vs U23 Indonesia will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 29 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta.
