Miss Lan Anh wears a "Queen" costume made from bamboo to Miss Earth 2023

Based on that meaning, designer Nguyen Tien Truyen cleverly separated the elements on the costume to create futuristic lines.

The combination of tradition and modernity in the “Queen” costume is clearly shown through the use of natural materials such as rattan, bamboo and reed - elements that are considered symbols of purity. This not only helps maintain familiarity but also creates a unique intersection for the design.

The work “The Queen” is as majestic and dignified as an epic painting. With the combination of cut lines and delicate processing, the work is not only beautiful but also creates a solemn atmosphere, reminiscent of the image of a female hero in the country's history.

Designer Nguyen Tien Truyen added: “For this outfit that Miss Lan Anh brought to Miss Earth, I have somewhat limited the level of sophistication. Instead, I focused on smaller details, helping the outfit to be less cumbersome and less obstructive to Lan Anh’s performance.”

The designer also added that for a costume with a special meaning like “The Queen”, Lan Anh needs to focus on her performance on stage so that people can understand this important historical figure.

As the representative of Vietnam at this year's contest, beauty Lan Anh received the attention of domestic and international beauty fans. Lan Anh was born in 1997, graduated from California State University of Fullerton. She is highly regarded for her beauty with a height of 1.71 m, balanced measurements of 85-60-95 cm.

Although she is a new face without much performance experience, Lan Anh is highly appreciated for her sweet beauty, impressive education and English skills, and enthusiasm in environmental protection charity projects. With these qualities, Vietnamese audiences expect Lan Anh to go far, even bringing a second crown to Vietnam.

The semi-finals of the Miss Earth 2023 contest will take place on December 16, the final round will take place on December 22.
