(Dan Tri) - In a conversation with Dan Tri reporter, Miss Thanh Thuy shared about her family's Tet tradition.

Despite being a beauty queen, Thanh Thuy still celebrates Tet according to family tradition in Da Nang . For her, Tet is not only a time for family reunion but also an opportunity to cherish the values of her homeland.

Despite being busy, Miss Thanh Thuy always spends the entire 3 days of Tet with her family, enjoying every precious moment with her parents and younger sister.

Miss Thanh Thuy: "On Tet, my parents are usually the ones who give me lucky money" (Performed by: Cam Tien).

The beauty shared: "When I come home, I am still my parents' daughter. I help my father clean, my mother wash dishes, and do laundry like everyone else. There is no distance between me and my family just because of the beauty queen title.

My family's Tet is always bustling with the sound of musical instruments and karaoke singing from my father and relatives. I like wearing ao dai and enjoying traditional dishes such as banh chung, banh tet, and pickled onions.

Regarding lucky money, Miss Thanh Thuy said she still keeps the "tradition" of receiving lucky money from her parents for good luck. But since becoming independent, she also gives lucky money to children, especially Co Tu children in her mother's hometown of Quang Nam .
