Completed the 90-day peak period of cleaning up marriage data

As of July 30, 2025, the People's Court of Lao Cai province has completed the task assigned by the Provincial People's Committee regarding the 90-day peak period of cleaning up marriage data in the area.

Implementing Plan No. 329/KH-BCA-BTP-TANDTC dated May 31, 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice , and the Supreme People's Court on launching the "90-day peak period to clean up marriage data and implement the reduction of procedures for confirming marital status"; Document No. 381/UBND–NC of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province on "Promoting the implementation of the 90-day peak period to clean up marriage data and implement the reduction of procedures for confirming marital status", the Provincial People's Court has stepped up urging and guiding the regional People's Courts and the People's Committees at the commune level to arrange maximum human resources and equipment to carry out the cleaning of marriage data to ensure the quality and progress set out.

By July 30, 2025, Lao Cai Provincial People's Court had completed the task of cleaning up marriage data in the area.

From 2010 to May 31, 2025, the Court sector has a total of 39,834 divorce judgments and decisions that have come into legal effect (Lao Cai 17,362, Yen Bai 22,472). Judgments and decisions (from January 1, 2018 to May 31, 2025) transferred to the same-level Judicial agency to make notes in the household registration book and update the household registration software are 24,854 judgments and decisions (Lao Cai 17,363, Yen Bai 22,472). The number of judgments and decisions (from 2010 to December 31, 2017) digitized on the Supreme People's Court's digitization software is 14,980/14,980, reaching a rate of 100% (Lao Cai 6,385/6,385; Yen Bai 8,595/8,595).

The process of cleaning up divorce judgment and decision data at People's Courts at all levels ensures absolute safety for personal information, avoiding disclosure, distortion or use for illegal purposes... fully and accurately updating the marital data of each citizen on the national electronic identification application (VNeID), moving towards reducing administrative procedures for "issuing a certificate of marital status".
